Hello! My name is David Brown and I am a graduate of the University of Abertay Dundee with an honours degree in Computer Games Technology. My primary interest is in Game and Graphics Programming and this was the basis for my Honours Project, which focussed on Atmospheric Scattering as a Post-Process Effect.
This web-site is the place where I will be hosting my completed projects, both university and personal. Please feel free to browse through the projects section and have a look at my cv. If you want to get in touch then please click over to the contact page and send me an e-mail. I am currently employed as a consultant programmer with Academic Work AB in Gothenburg and I am currently seated at CPAC Systems AB in Gothenburg as a Front End programmer for their display system.
Current projects
Projects receiving attention in my spare time are:

- Maintaining a programming blog with articles and tutorials
- Deriving an efficient illumination model for games
- Implementing virtual texturing and exploring possible optimisations
Additional
I also take part in the ProjectEuler.net web-site as a way to try out new problems and solve them using my programming skills. I believe that this will improve my problem solving skills and will learn more about the flexibilities of C++. Below is a stamp that tracks my progress throughout:

PlayStation3 is my current favourite console. Since PlayStation came to the market I have been a die hard PS fan – although, like most PS fans, I also own the Nintendo line-up as well
. I’m getting round to starting most of my games again so that I can actually get these trophies, so perhaps this little emblem below will look more impressive soon:
